Humanscale will not charge return fees, change fees, or cancellation fees on products purchased directly through https://uk.humanscale.com (the “Website”) with the exception of Separation Panels as noted below.

WEBSITE ACCESS

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Website. By accessing the Website via the internet or any other medium, you (“the User”) accept and agree to all conditions imposed in this Terms and Conditions Agreement.

Humanscale reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to the User. Any change in these Terms and Conditions is effective immediately upon the User's receipt of notice from Humanscale. Notice can be given through e-mail, posting on the site or any other means by which the User may obtain notice. Users should check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Any use of the site after changes have been made shall be deemed as acceptance of those changed Terms and Conditions. Humanscale reserves the right to monitor use of the site.

Humanscale has the exclusive right to control accessibility and any other information found on the site. Humanscale can restrict access to any or all portions of the site or remove any information or content from the site at any time. Humanscale reserves the right to terminate this site at any time without prior notice.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Payment is made through the Website. Humanscale reserves the right to reject payment and/or payment methods if it suspects fraud.

PURCHASE ORDERS

Each order through the Website (“Purchase Order”) must be completed in full by the customer (“Customer”).

RETURNS, ORDER CHANGES, & CANCELLATIONS

All products, with the exception of separation panels, can be returned within 30 days without any fees. Customer must contact Customer Service to obtain instructions on how to return products. Humanscale will pay return shipping. All returns, changes to or cancellations of orders placed must be in writing and sent to Customer Service. Humanscale reserves the right to cancel any outstanding orders without liability and arrange a full refund to the Customer.

Refunds from returns for items purchased through the Website will typically take 5 to 10 days to process.

TAXES

Humanscale’s list prices do not include sales tax. Customer is responsible to remit all such tax. Value added tax (VAT) is chargeable on all sales to non-exempt Customers in Ireland and to non-VAT registered Customers in U.K. & Europe.

PRICES

All discounts and list prices are subject to change without notice. Prices in effect are those at the time of Purchase Order. No quotation issued by Humanscale shall constitute an offer to sell the Products.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Humanscale reserves the right to determine carrier method of shipment and routing of all deliveries. Product prices do not include shipping.

DELIVERY SHORTAGES

Product shortages must be noted at the time of delivery and reported to the carrier for correction. Claims against Humanscale for shortages, errors, etc. must be made in writing and must be received by Humanscale within three (3) days of the date of delivery or Customer waives its right to make such a claim.

STORAGE

If a Customer is unable to accept a scheduled Product delivery, Humanscale, if notified before the Product is placed with a carrier, shall store the Product at the Customer’s expense. Humanscale shall invoice the Customer for the Product and all storage and associated fees. If a Customer is unable to accept a scheduled Product upon delivery, the Customer shall be responsible for placing the Product in suitable storage and bears the risk of loss and damages.

WARRANTY

THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER “CUSTOMER’S OWN MATERIAL” (I.E. FABRIC SPECIFIED BY THE CUSTOMER).

Humanscale offers the following warranties on its products:

*Modifying or tampering with any part of the base of the Float Table will render the warranty void. The warranty on the Float Table applies to the base and work surface if the table top is provided by Humanscale, and only to base if the table top is provided by a third-party, provided that the third-party table top meets the following requirements: (i) has a depth of 36” or less, (ii) has a width of 72” or less, and (iii) the total weight load including work surface is no more than 130 lbs for the standard base and no more than 160 lbs for the heavy duty base

** Note: Ballo is not a task chair. It has not passed the BIFMA or European EN standards for office seating. The Ballo is an exercise chair that is designed for dynamic seating and frequent movement. All Ballo instructions should be followed to ensure a comfortable experience.
